Dollar Stores To Change In Wolf Point
Changes are taking place with the dollar stores in Wolf Point. Dollar Tree has decided to close the Family Dollar portions of 58 full combos in the nation, including the one in Wolf Point.
Plans are for Family Dollar in Wolf Point to close on May 24. Discounts at that store will increase each week starting with 20 percent off this week.
Remodeling of the building will begin on May 25. The schedule is for Dollar Tree to reopen sometime between June 26 and July 31.
Store manager Jim Dye said 22 current Family Dollar employees have been offered positions at the Dollar Tree store in Wolf Point.
According to national reports, Dollar Tree sold Family Dollar to Brigade and Macellum for $1 billion after buying Family Dollar for $9 billion in 2015.
It isn’t known yet whether the Dollar Tree store in Wolf Point will include a Dollar Tree Plus section. Dollar Tree Plus offers items up to a maximum price of $7. The selections might include frozen foods and refrigerated items.
