Wolves, Indians Compete At Wolf Point Golf Meet

Wolf Point golfers competed in a couple recent meets and the Wolves keep improving throughout the season.

Wolf Point’s boys placing at the Wolves’ home meet on Tuesday, April 15, were Conway Turcotte in 14th, William Schwarzrock in 25th, Chaz Kegley in 26th and Adam Huysen in 29th.

Girls placing were Maia Kent in seventh and McKinlee Paulson in 11th.

Poplar’s Kaniel Ricker shot an 85 to earn medalist honors at the Wolf Point meet. Poplar’s Navarjo Escarcega took seventh with a 94 and Lukas Young was 10th with a 99.

Glasgow’s Annika Smith earned girls’ medalist honors with a 101.

Poplar’s Angelina Escarcega took third place with a 103. Masina Youpee was ninth at 118.

Placing for the Wolves at the Glasgow Invitational were Turcotte in 25th, Schwarzrock in 26th, Kegley in 29th and Adam Huysken in 31st.

In the girls’ division, Kent placed 11th and Paulson took 15th.
