Liver Transplant Fundraiser Held

An Indian taco fundraiser in front of Doc’Z Pub in Wolf Point sold out in four hours Saturday, Aug. 1. Friends are raising money to help cover the costs of a liver transplant for Poplar’s Dale Bear. Thalia Nashali (right) told the Northern Plains Independent that a crew consisting of Cleo and Kelly Cranford, Barbra BlackShear, Kendall Martins, Debby Tubbs, Myrle Zilkoski, Martín Kloster and Melanie Nelson raised $1,112 after expenses with help from Missouri Breaks Brewing and Kawsmic Tattoo.
