Quickbooks Training Available From GNDC
With the goal of assisting small businesses in the region, the Great Northern Development Corporation is offering Desktop Quickbooks seminars in the area from Sept. 22-24.
“Quickbooks is probably one of our most popular classes,” said Shandy Hanks Moran, Small Business Development coordinator.
Dates for the seminars are Sept. 22, at the Valley Event Center in Glasgow, Sept. 23, at the Farver Farms Cookhouse in Scobey and Sept, 24, at the Richland County Extension office in Sidney. The programs run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
Instruction will include the basics of accounting, navigating Quickbooks, entering transactions and running reports.
The seminars in Glasgow and Scobey are already filled up, but there’s still room in the one scheduled in Sidney. For more information, contact Moran at 653-2590, ext. 203, or email sbdc@gndc.org. She noted there are a few openings for sessions with Quickbooks proadvisor Wendy Weissman after the presentations. Contact Moran to register for one of these sessions.
