Cowgirls Fall To Spartans

The Culbertson Cowgirls fell in their volleyball match against Scobey, 21-25, 13-25, 23-25, during action in Scobey on Friday, Oct. 2.

Makena Hauge finished with seven kills and one block for the Cowgirls. Kylie Portra added seven kills.

Koree Marchwick accounted for 15 assists. McKinsey Justice had 21 digs.

Anissa Bengochea and Justice each served four aces.

Whitney Maher scored 11 kills for Scobey.

Other leaders for the Spartans included Ryleigh Backman with six blocks and Kylee Anderson with five aces.

Culbertson will travel to Savage Thursday, Oct. 8, and Lustre Christian Friday, Oct. 9.
