LuJuanna Rae Fire Cloud, 64, died at her home in Brockton on Oct. 11, 2020.

She was born in Sisseton, S.D., to Paul Fire Cloud and Veronica LeBlanc on May 22, 1956.

Lou, as everyone knew her, spent the majority of her life in Montana. In 1977, she met and married Robert Youpee. They later divorced, but remained close friends. She loved her children and grandchildren beyond words.

She was an awesome cook and worked with the Brockton and Poplar School systems. If she wasn’t home watching TV enjoying some popcorn and Diet Coke, she could be found with her sister- in-law Sharon on a road trip or at bingo. No type of weather conditions could stop them from playing. She loved to travel and was always willing to keep you company on the road.

She was a beautiful, amazing soul that always put her family first. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She had the biggest heart and would help anyone who needed it. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting her, you would understand why her family and friends were so blessed.

She is survived by her children, David, Karen, Robert Jr., Sophina, Edith, Kelly and Summer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kyle.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul; sister, Jacqueline; grandson, Jayden; and her friend, Robert Sr.

A private family service was held in Brockton on Sunday, Oct. 18, at the family home. The funeral was held at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel on Monday, Oct. 19. Cremation followed.
