Wolves Post Two Victories Over Harlem

Wolf Point’s volleyball squad scored two league victories over Harlem on Saturday, Oct.24.

The Wolves earned the first match victory in Harlem by a 25-20, 25-22, 25-21, final.

Katelyn MacDonald served eight of Wolf Point’s 19 aces in the match. She had 11 digs.

Gracie Ferdina finished with 21 assists. Jewel Olson accounted for six kills. Sierra Hamilton had three blocks.

The Wolves downed Harlem in the second match by 21-25, 25-20, 25-21, 26-24, margin.

Ferdina and Hamilton each served four aces. Hamilton finished with five blocks.

Olson scored six kills. Demi Kegley had 10 digs. Ferdina accounted for 21 assists.

The Wolves will meet Malta at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, in the first round of the district tournament in Malta. Top-seeded Glasgow receives a first-round bye. Harlem plays Poplar in the play-in match. The championship match is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday. The top three teams advance to the divisional tournament.
