The Wild West Diner held their annual holiday open house event as snow moved into the area Sunday, Nov. 8. The event officially started at 11 a.m. Ashlee Anderson told the Community News that the event was packed during the first hour despite the weather, which was still taking a turn for the worse by 1 p.m. when things were wrapping up.

The open house marks the change in seasons and a rotation of gift items for sale. Anderson said new signature cocktail mixes were a hit at a Nov. 8 wine tasting event. She said new hand knit hats created by Nickichicki in sizes ranging newborn to adult have been popular and may sell out quickly. Other items include candles and Christmas decorations. The diner crew was still changing out inventory for Monday morning at 1:30 p.m.
