Veterans Day Recognized At Culbertson School
Although it wasn’t the school district’s traditional program, Culbertson Schools made a point to recognize Veterans Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Because of social distancing concerns, school officials decided to have a video tribute for veterans created rather than conducting an assembly.
The presentation opened with Take A Minute To Thank A Veteran by Joanna Fuchs recited by Culbertson fifth-grader Arlie Purvis, fourth-grader Emma Henry and fourth-grader Anna Steppler.
The recognition included military music performed by the Culbertson high school and junior high bands.
Other highlights included Veterans, We Love You, recited by third-graders.
Second-graders sang the National Anthem. The video can be seen on Facebook.
