Volleyball Players Voted All-State
Froid/Lake senior standout Sydney Dethman was one of eight District 1C players voted to the Class C All-State team this season.
Dethman led the Red Hawks to a second-place showing in the district for both the regular season and for the district tournament.
Plentywood, which placed third at the state tournament, had junior Liv Wangerin, Donn Longan and Ashtyn Curtiss as All-State selections.
Other All-State selections from the district included MonDak’s junior Elizabeth Field, Fairview’s senior Jadyn Gackle, North Country’s senior Kaitlyn McColly and North Country’s senior Kia Wasson.
Also voted to the All-Conference team were Richey-Lambert’s Laurel Sponheim, Scobey’s senior Gracee Lekvold, Richey-Lambert’s Isabelle Fatzinger and North Country’s Jaycee Erickson.
Froid/Lake’s sophomores Dasani Nesbit and Carolyne Christofferson were each second team All-Conference picks.
Selected to second team All-Conference from Culbertson were senior Kylie Portra and sophomore Makena Hauge.
The second team also included MonDak senior Brynn Folvag, Savage senior Alexia Papka, Plentywood junior Shayla Fawcett, North Country senior Jaydyn Erickson, Savage sophomore Teah Conradsen, Fairview senior Emily Sundheim, Scobey junior Whitley Maher and Richey/ Lambert junior Jaylyn Klempel.
