Webinars Offer Free Training For CSAs, Food Producers
Partners from the Headwaters Food & Ag Development Center are offering two free webinars to individuals and businesses interested community supported agriculture and/or sales techniques for food producers.
The first program, Trends in Online Selling for Food Producers, is designed to support farmers, food producers and other farmers’ market vendors and is intended to cover the logistics of online selling and pre-ordering for food vendors that may typically sell in farmers’ markets. The content is geared to support online selling for vendors that would be found in those markets. Farmers and vendors have been forced to reimagine how they sell to their customers, sometimes leveraging technology or systems that may be unfamiliar.
This program will cover how vendors are managing order taking, pick-up and delivery, mailing lists, digital order forms, and contactless payment in the new direct to the consumer marketplace.

The second program, Basics of Running a Food Subscription or Community Supported Agriculture, will cover the basics of, and differences between, subscriptions and community-supported agriculture programs.
Topics covered will include pricing, packaging, building a program, fulfillment, and more. This program is for farmers, ranchers, meal kits, and food producers of all kinds.
