Tribes To Give Out Turkeys To Elders
The Fort Peck Tribes Elderly Program will distribute turkeys to tribal elders (60 years or older) on Friday, Nov. 20.
The program will conduct this event at each town’s tribal elderly site via drive through. The main goal is to keep the elders safe, so please stay in your vehicle and wear a mask.
Starting times will be at 11 a.m. at the sites in Brockton, Poplar Senior Site, Wolf Point and Frazer Senior Site. Staff and turkeys are limited so please be patient.
If you or your household are under quarantine, call Carol Berner at 768-2434 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Organizers will try to make arrangements to get your turkey delivered to your doorstep.
