Spillman Charged With Drug Possession
Christopher Spillman has been charged in district court with criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 16.
According to court documents, an officer saw a vehicle go through a stop sign on Main Street and Sixth Avenue South in Wolf Point at 4:13 a.m. on Nov. 18.
After patting down Spillman, law enforcement discovered a silver metal container. Spillman admitted that meth was in the container. Law enforcement also found a baggie containing a white crystalline substance. The items seized had a total of .30 grams of presumptive meth.
If conviction of the possession of dangerous drugs charge, Spillman could be sentenced up to five years in prison and fined up to $5,000. If convicted of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, he could be sentenced up to six months in jail and fined up to $500 or both.
