Mammography Funds

The foundation presented $25,000 to the NEMHS Radiology department on Nov. 23 to go towards the cost of the new 3D Mammography unit that was set up in July of this year: (left to right) Roger Fisher, chief operating officer of NEMHS; Monica Hanson, director of NEMHS Radiology; Rodney Paulson, NEMHS Charitable Foundation chairman; Stuart Conner, vice president of NEMHS IT Department and NEMHSCF board director; and Beth Pickthorn, NEMHS Charitable Foundation executive director. Throughout 2020, in spite of all obstacles, the NEMHS Charitable Foundation was able to raise money towards their fundraising goals. The funds were raised from a spring gun fundraiser, summer golf tournament, Bucks for Bras online auction, fall drawing for a diamond ring and a Green Mountain grill and a Christmas fundraiser that sold out in a month. Donations from individuals, businesses and sponsorships from grants were also received, which were very important in a year where so much was canceled.
