Workshop Setup

Culbertson students (left to right) Colin Avance, Payton and Aiden Perkins help set up equipment for teacher Mary Machart, who gave a live workshop on Saturday as part of a Jobs for America’s Graduates workshop titled “LOVE Project: Lifting Our Voices for Equity.” The purpose of the project is to encourage youth to identify challenges in their community and work collectively to make change. Said Machart, “I was overwhelmed when the equipment arrived, so my students started to help, did some major problem solving and set it all up. They came back after school to do sound checks, etc.”
