He noted Montana used 25 unique grant programs in order to prioritized and distribute funding.

“That has served our communities through these trying times,” Bullock said. “However, the pandemic continues on.” The Democrat urges federal leaders to come together in order to help each state.

“Congress needs to put politics aside and come to agreement for more relief,” he said. “States have waited for too long.”

Although distribution of a vaccine will begin happening soon, Bullock urged residents to keep staying home when sick, wear masks, social distance and avoid large gatherings.

“This is the reality we must continue to live with,” Bullock said. “We have to continue to take preventive and protective measures to try to limit the spread.”
