Wolf Point Junior Myklynn Lewis has been writing and recoding music with an eye to the future. In the past year, she’s turned her attention to music production as well. She is currently fundraising to earn a chance to up her game at a studio boot camp hosted by Talent Inc. in July and August of 2021 in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The total cost for the boot camp is $2,350. If successful, Lewis says mom Rolinda Yazzie will be her chaperon and representative.

Lewis hasn’t been idle thus far. She has been recording and sharing her music on an ambitious scale. Her debut single EP is titled Mixed Feelings and includes three tracks: Karma, I Am Free and Love Me. The release is available on Spotify, Sound Cloud, Apple Music, YouTube and Amazon Music.

The studio boot camp will include a talent show attended by music producers and representatives from recording labels beginning July 28 through Aug. 4. If selected for a call back, Lewis can expect to make valuable connections within the industry. There will be a red carpet event and entrants compete with each other for college scholarship offers.

Recent fundraising efforts include a 50/50 fundraiser drawing ($5 for 1 ticket and $20 for 5 tickets), with a drawing scheduled for Jan. 31. To contact Lewis, reach out on Facebook.
