Bainville Girls Post First Victory

Bainville’s girls’ basketball team scored its first victory of the season by beating Fairview, 33-21, on the road on Friday, Jan. 15.

The Bulldogs trailed 13-10 at the half, but Bainville struck for 14 points in the third quarter to take a 24-17 advantage.

Sadie Ullmer scored five points and Brecklyn Pippenger added four points for the Bulldogs during the fourth quarter.

Bainville outscored Fairview by a 9-4 margin in the final period.

Top scorers for the Bulldogs were Pippenger with nine and Kaitlyn Adkins with six points.

Also scoring were Ullmer with five, Elsie Wilson with four, Lakyn Rabbe with four, Tally Berwick with four and Micah Anderson with one.

Emily Sundheim scored 11 points for Fairview. Scout Hofer added six points for the Warriors.
