Brockton Girls Fall Short In Bainville

Bainville’s girls’ basketball team rolled to a 57-14 win over Brockton on Friday, Jan. 22.

The Bulldogs enjoyed a 17-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 27-7 half-time advantage.

Bainville increased its advantage to 42-11 in the third quarter.

Sadie Ullmer led the Bulldogs with eight points.

Adding seven points each were Lakyn Rabbe and Kaitlyn Adkins.

Also scoring for Bainville were Miah Pippenger with six, Brecklyn Pippenger with six, Kendra Romo with six, Kaelyn Romo with six, Micah Anderson with five, Elsie Wilson with four and Tally Berwick with two.

Scoring for Brockton were Kyra Stormy with nine, Ava Lone Bear with three and Povee Youngman with two.

Brockton will host Fairview in District 2C action on Saturday, Jan. 30.
