Sidney hosted the Monday, Feb. 8 district Future Farmers of America meet.

Culbertson’s Kylie Bergum placed fifth in creed speaking, Kash Ator and Landen Kelm from Medicine Lake placed sixth and seventh. Zora Holt from Hinsdale took first place. In extemporaneous speaking, Bainville’s Wyatt Iverson placed first, with teammate Donna Butikofer placing seventh and Culbertson’s Zach Miller placing eighth.

Richey won district sweepstakes. Culbertson placed fourth and Bainville came in sixth.

In team varsity farm and agribusiness management, Bainville placed first. Froid placed fourth and Culbertson placed fifth. In individuals, Bainville’s Rudy Kummer placed first, followed by teammates Wyatt Iverson at second and Kaden Hansen at fifth. Culbertson’s Autumn Bergum placed sixth.

Tige Purvis from Culbertson placed second in prepared speaking. Bainville’s Kaden Hansen will be chair for the all star parliamentary procedure team, along with Bainville’s Tally Berwick (third place, floor), Froid’s Kaylee Olson (fifth, floor) and Culbertson’s Tige Purvis (sixth, floor).
