New Council Member Appointed In Bainville

Butikofer Elected Council President

Matt Giese was appointed to fill Chuck Hyatt’s position on the Bainville Town Council Feb. 8. Giese has served previously. Ron Butikoker was voted council president. Butikofer offered thanks to Hyatt on behalf of the council.

Minutes were passed for the Jan. 19 meeting. No public comment was offered.

An agreement for sanitation services was approved with Bowker Enterprises. The current contract terms were extended for one year.

Claims and checks for Feb. 9 were approved, as were JV, UB vouchers and payrolls slips. Delinquent accounts were reviewed.

The next meeting is set for March 8.
