Brockton Loses Games To Thunder

The Brockton Warriors lost both of its basketball games against MonDak on Friday, Feb. 5.

In the girls’ game, MonDak earned a 44-9 victory.

The Thunder led 17-2 at the end of the first quarter and by a 40-4 half-time margin.

Scoring for Brockton were Kyra Stormy with five and Ava Lone Bear with four points.

Leading MonDak were Brynn Folvag with 19 and Elizabeth Field with 16 points.

MonDak’s boys won by a 62-28 final.

After leading by only an 11-10 margin at the end of the first quarter, MonDak scored 28 points in the second period for a 39-10 half-time advantage.

Top scorers for Brockton were Treydyn Bauer with 11 and Allen Russell with 10 points. Also scoring were QuinnDale Pretty Paint with six and Quannah First That Walks with two.
