Heser, Gustafson Change Pleas To Charges
Andrew Michael Heser and Christopher Lee Gustafson each submitted changes of plea in district court on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Heser changed his plea to guilty for criminal possession of dangerous drugs, second offense.
He testified that he was at home during a day off when his probation officer came to the residence. The probation officer searched his home and vehicle. There was meth discovered in the vehicle.
The plea agreement included a $1,000 fine and a fiveyear suspended sentence to run concurrently with Heser’s current sentence.
Judge David Cybulski approved the plea agreement. The pre-sentencing investigation was waived.
“I’m kind of worried about you. You have one more charge,” Cybulski said to Heser. “I have to figure out what kind of baseball bat we need to use to get your attention.”
Gustafson changed his plea to guilty for criminal possession of dangerous drugs. The incident happened on Dec. 2, 2020.
Gustafson said that he was west of Wolf Point and then came into Wolf Point. Police stopped him for a “false hitand- run” complaint. Police found heroin that “I forgot was in my possession.”
A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered by Cybulski.
