Lustre Christian Defeats Frazer

Lustre’s boys’ basketball squad downed Frazer, 78-26, in loser-out play at the District 3C tournament on Friday, Feb. 19.

The Lions jumped out to a 23-0 lead in the first quarter. Lustre led by a 55-8 half-time margin.

Reaching double figures for Lustre were Jasiah Hambria with 13 and Kaleb Hoversland with 11 points. Alex Chen tallied nine points.

Adding eight points each were Elijah Lenihan, Kolden Hoversland and Cayden Klatt.

Also scoring were Braden Ewing with six, Bryann Chen with two and Josh Brown with two.

Jonathon Jackson led Frazer with eight points. Rounding out the scoring were John Hotomanie with five, Ty Fourstar with five, Joseph Bestin with three, Kevin Ackerman with three and Blue Fettig with two.
