Girls Receive Conference Awards
Three girls’ basketball players from Froid/Lake and one from Culbertson were among the first-team All-Conference selections for District 2C this season.
Voted to the first team from Froid/Lake were senior Sydney Dethman, sophmore Dasani Nesbit and sophomore Carolyne Christoffersen. Dethman was an All-State selection.
Culbertson’s sophomore Makena Hauge was voted to the All-Conference first team.
Also selected All-Conference were Plentywood’s Liv Wangerin, MonDak’s Elizabeth Field, Plentywood’s Ashtyn Curtiss, Circle’s Ryann Moline, Plentywood’s Emma Brensdal and MonDak’s Brynn Folvag. Wangerin and Field earned All-State recognition.
The All-Conference second team features Froid/Lake’s sophomore Baylee Davidson, Culbertson’s sophomore Megan Granbois, MonDak’s Kiarra Brunelle, Plentywood’s Shayla Fawcett, Circle’s Alexis Moline, Savage’s Teah Conradsen, Circle’s Sierra Nagle, Richey/Lambert’s Jaylyn Klempel, Savage’s Brooke Reuter and Fairview’s Emily Sundheim.
First-team Defense picks were Dethman, Wangerin, Field, Fawcett and Brunelle.
Second-team Defense selections were Nesbit, Hauge, Curtiss, Nagle and Circle’s Brooke Bartelson.
Selections were made by league coaches.
