Miller Oil Requests Rate Increase
Miller Oil Company has filed its application for an annual true-up of its propane cost tracking adjustment with the Montana Public Service Commission. The application covers the period of January to December 2020.
Miller Oil is requesting that the PSC grants an increase in rates in the amount of $0.00081 per cubic foot of propane to Schedule M, Metered Propane Service for Culbertson. The requested adjustment reflects a net under- collection, by Miller Oil, in the amount of $9,736 in propane costs for the previous tracker period.

The commission invites any interested party affected by Miller Oil’s filing to intervene in this docket. To intervene, a party must file a Petition to Intervene with the commission no later than May 11. A party seeking intervention must submit an electronic petition to the commission’s website at http:// psc.mt.gov (“EDDI, Customer Portal & E-Filing” icon).
Under the “Electronic Filings” section of the notice, the commission outlined a temporary change in its policy. All filings must be made in EDDI and hard copies are not required. A party seeking intervention must also mail a hard copy of the petition to MCC at the address stated above, and to Miller Oil’s attorneys of record, Monica Tranel, Tranel Law Firm, P.C., 202 W.
