Students Improve Look Of Underpass
Students from Northside Elementary School and Wolf Point High School combined efforts to put fresh paint on the underpass in Wolf Point on Monday afternoon. Northside students were part of the Influencers and high school students were from the Power Rangers’ organization.
The clubs were formed under the guidance of consultant William Henry, who was also encouraging students with the painting project on Monday.
Henry, a motivational speaker and author, said the students picked the project as a way to improve the community. He noted his goals include self-empowering the students and encourage them to respect their communities.
After completion of the project, Henry thanked the students. “We don’t want it to be a mess here. We did our job.”
He also talked about leadership. “This is what leaders do. I appreciate you coming out to do this.”
Henry said the project was probably the final one for the groups this school year. “We’re come back in August, strong for sure,” he added.
