Wolf Point Conducts Graduation Ceremony
Wolf Point High School’s Class of 2021 looked forward to the future as commencement exercises were held in the school gym on Sunday, May 30.
Principal Kim Hanks noted that the class featured many talented students including musicians, actors, athletes, scholars and future military personnel.
Valedictorian Doriane Keiser said that she earned the honor because of her hard work despite facing struggles. She thanked family members, friends and teachers for their support.
Keiser mentioned the great people that the Class of 2021 includes in Wolf Point.
Keiser stressed that the school district needs to improve in order for students to achieve the most success possible. She said the district falls short compared to other area districts. “It’s hard to compete with others,” she said of students’ success.

Salutatorian Jewel Olson spoke about how amazing the class is during her speech. She mentioned the perseverance the class members needed to graduate while dealing with the COVID situation.
Olson said she will remember the people in the bleachers, on the stage and the classmates in front of her. She said there are challenges in the school, but the people in the building make it a unique place.
Honor student Angelica Sutton urged students to remember the good qualities that they possess. She said everybody does abnormal things. “We spend too much time cutting ourselves down for anything we do wrong, instead of what we do right.”
