Charlie Brown Opens At FPST
Fort Peck Summer Theatre is presenting You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown beginning June 25. Fine Arts Council executive director Jennifer Fewer told the Northern Plains Independent that the cast features Mathias Oliver as Linus (last seen at FPST as Sebastian in Disney’s The Little Mermaid), as well as Sydney Hayward as Lucy, Andy Meyers as Charlie, Calvin Pierce as Snoopy, Jay Michael Roberts as Schroeder and Taylor Noll as Sally. Rob Watson directs the production alongside choreographer Megan Wiltshire and musical director Alicia Bullock-Muth.
“All the iconic Peanuts characters we adore, including Snoopy, Lucy and lovable Charlie Brown, come to life in this highly entertaining, Tony Award winning musical,” said a FPFAC press release.
Performances run from June 25 through Aug. 15. FPST has initiated a repertory schedule, meaning rotating shows and performance dates. There are also special 2 p.m. matinee shows July 3, July 10, July 24 and Aug. 7. Regular FPST performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
