Bigger Sky Kids Hosts Young Artists At Doc’Z
Bigger Sky Kids students are hosting a reception of young artists’ work at Doc’Z on Main Street in Wolf Point now through July 8. Participating artists are students of artist-in-community Cathryn Reitler McIntyre and have been participating in a multiphase oils course. Featured students include Ali Copron, Dana Buckles, Danté Dionne, Emma Kawasaki, Jeina Reum, Kaleah White Bear, Quiarrah Rios, Tanna Guldborg and Thomas Moudree. The public is invited to view their work.
BSK sponsors after-school, art-based instruction and provides a safe place for children to participate in program activity by gathering teachers and artists representing a wide range of talent and ensuring they have essential resources. The organization serves Wolf Point children from grades four through eight. Its program is cost-free to participating families. There are no ethnic, gender, means or other tests for participation. Classes typically meet once a week from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. and may include visual arts, computer arts, cooking, dance, drama, music and other activities. Most classes meet at First Lutheran Church.
Doc’Z is located at 326 Main St. For more information about BSK, visit biggerskykids. org.
