Juveniles Injured In Sunday Crash

Two juvenile females suffered injuries from a single vehicle rollover in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 11.

The report of the crash was received by the Montana Highway Patrol at 4 a.m. on Sunday. The Montana Highway Patrol arrived at the scene at 4:36 a.m.

Chris George of the Montana Highway Patrol said the crash occurred on BIA Route 1, Road 265, west of Wolf Point. He said the crash happened when the driver failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and headed off the road.

One of the juveniles was flown to Billings for medical treatment. She was listed in stable condition as of Monday, July 12.

Because a power pole was knocked down from the crash, there was a short disturbance of power.

George said alcohol is a suspected factor in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
