Spitfire Grill Enters Final Weekend At FPST
Two final performances of
The Spitfire Grill are being offered Saturday, Aug. 7, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 8, at 4 p.m. The show is directed by Fort Peck veteran Pam L. Veis with Luree Green-Chappell as musical director. Alongside Noll as Percy, the cast features Brittany Archambeault, Alicia Bullock-Muth, Chae Clearwood, Darren Green, Andy Meyers and Jay Michael Roberts.
Said Fort Peck Fine Arts Council executive director Jennifer Fewer, “This heart-warming blues and folk tinged musical celebrates second chances, following Percy a young woman who dreams of a new start in a small Wisconsin town. Her unique idea to save the struggling local diner takes the town on a journey of self-discovery while stories, gossip, good coffee and a hot breakfast are all served up at The Spitfire Grill. The cherished film version stars Oscar winners Marcia Gay Harden and Ellen Burstyn.”
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Baskerville continue for one more week (closing Aug. 13 and Aug. 15 respectively) and then the season concludes with a three-weekend run of Terms of Endearment, starring Pam L. Veis and Megan Wiltshire, Aug. 20 through Sept. 5.
