Summer Theatre Season Concludes With Terms Of Endearment
Fort Peck Summer Theatre brings Terms of Endearment to the stage Aug. 20 through Sept. 5, marking the conclusion of this year’s season. Artistic director Andy Meyers directs the final offering of the 2021 season. The play is based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize winning author Larry McMurtry, Said Fort Peck Fine Arts Council executive director Jennifer Fewer, “As challenges test the resilience of a mother- daughter relationship, this bittersweet and touching ‘drama-comedy’ captures the delicate bonds of family ties. The 1983 film starring Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger and Jack Nicholson was nominated for a record high 11 Oscars, winning Best Picture and multiple other categories.”
Terms of Endearment stars Pam L. Veis and FPST Camp Director Megan Wiltshire, who previously appeared as mother and daughter in 2019’s On Golden Pond. The duo is joined by Seattle based actor Tim Eastman in the Jack Nicholson role, as well Treyson Sherk, Sydney Hayward and Dan Hance.
The performance also features the voice talent of Joel Guttenberg, Lizzie Peters, Rachel Lynn Pewitt and Tayte Prewett.
Performances are Aug. 20 through Sept. 5 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
