Bulldogs Lose Contest To Wibaux
Bainville suffered a 62-33 football loss at home against Wibaux on Saturday, Oct. 2.
“It was a tough game,” Bainville coach Trustin Holcomb said. “We had too many missed tackles and opportunities.”
Wibaux led by a 34-20 halftime margin. After Bainville recovered an on-sides kick to open the third quarter, the Bulldogs scored for a 34-26 game.
The Longhorns held a 4026 advantage at the end of the third quarter and then scored 22 points in the fourth quarter.
“I think they kind of worn us down a little bit,” Holcomb said.
Cayden Boyd scored two receiving touchdowns from Jesse Strickland. Braeden Romo also caught a touchdown pass from Strickland. Bainville’s other touchdown was scored on a run by Strickland.
Holcomb said Romo had a strong game defensively for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs will host Savage at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, for their homecoming game.
