Two-Vehicle Accident Near Frazer

A United Parcel Service truck was involved in a two-vehicle accident with a semi on U.S. Highway 2 near Frazer Monday, Oct. 4, at around 4:04 p.m. According to Wolf Point Fire Chief Clint Bushman, Long Run Fire Department responded to assist at the accident scene. Northeast Montana Health Services Ambulance transported Benton after he was extricated from the vehicle for medical treatment. The incident is being investigated by the Montana Highway Patrol, who were unavailable as of presstime. Benton is a captain with the WPVFD. According to a social media post by Bushman, Benton “experienced a few injuries, but is doing fine” and “has a long road to recovery.”
