Indians Lose Football Game In Fairview
The Poplar football team was defeated in Fairview by a 60-14 margin on Friday, Oct. 1. The Indians trailed by a 44-0 half-time score.
“We actually moved the ball pretty well on offense, but we had big mistakes,” Poplar Coach Joe Hammar said.
Adrien Matuck, a sophomore, accounted for Poplar’s first touchdown on a kickoff return.
Kaniel Ricker scored on a touchdown run for the Indians.
Hammar said a positive was having William Youngman back in action to lead the offensive attack.
The Indians will host Circle for senior night on Saturday, Oct. 9.
