Runners Take Second In Sidney
The Culbertson/Bainville’s girls’ cross-country squad earned second-place honors during the Eagle Invitational in Sidney on Saturday, Oct. 9.
Miles City’s girls took first with 33 points. Culbertson/ Bainville placed second with 64 points and Glendive took third with 78 points.
Plentywood’s Annie Kaul finished first in the girls’ division with a time of 20:07.56.
Emma Poser of Culbertson/ Bainville placed sixth at 22:27.04. Kayli Olson took seventh at 22:27.77.
Autumn Bergum placed 19th at 25:55.37 and Megan Granbois took 20th at 26:11.79. Destiny Thompson finished 31st at 27:50.99.
The Culbertson/Bainville boys took seventh in the team standings with 154 points. Wolf Point earned first with 34 points.
Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers was the overall winner at 17:57.72.
Leading Culbertson/Bainville was Drae Nelson with a time of 21:31.92 for 23rd place. Wyatt Snyder placed 28th at 22:07.08.
Dawson Bergum finished 36th at 23:50.89. Isaiah Bighorn took 40th at 24:48.55. Trevor Green was 42nd at 25:45.99.
Brockton’s Quannah First That Walks took 43rd place at 28:29.67.
Brockton’s Lucille “Lucy” Hart placed 35th in the girls’ standings at 31:51.08.
