Are You Tired Yet?

Hello, enrolled members of the Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes, I am going to ask you once again if you are tired? Here are some, but not all of the new programs or allocations that this council has done.
Are you tired of the crime & violence plaguing our neighborhoods, communities and reservation? This current council has exercised our banishment law with the help of our courts and law enforcement and banished seven individuals that were recommended. There are currently 25 uniformed tribal police officers. We also just created a tribal security program and hired the director. There will be security patrol stationed in each community where they will be providing much needed protection throughout the night.
Are you tired of the outer communities only getting attention every two years during election season? This current council chose to allocate CARES, ARPA & Tribal monies for much needed infrastructure in Frazer, Oswego, Riverside, Brockton & Ft. Kipp. These included upgraded lagoons, water and sewer lines, community quarantine centers, and a much needed irrigation project for south Sprole and Blair and have applied for a grant to upgrade the Ft. Peck Water Users Association irrigation canals.
Are you tired of everyone campaigning on the elders and youth? This current council has set aside monies for all new Headstart buildings across the reservation, a new tribal daycare was opened in Poplar that can service up to 52 children, plans are in place and land has been set aside for a tribal daycare to be built in Wolf Point next. Monies have been set aside for our Elders to help them with homeowner renovations and appliance assistance, TSHIP now pays for Medicaid Part B reimbursement.
Are you tired of the lack of adequate access to mental health and drug/alcohol recovery and treatment? We have been lobbying and advocating on the state and federal front. We have been supporting mental telehealth through HPDP in our schools, and in our tribal health mobile clinic. Spotted Bull is close to opening their doors for the inpatient meth treatment center, as they now need to upgrade the sprinkler system. SBRRC will be starting services again in the outer communities.
Are you tired of the same group of people that get the most benefits from our tribe (jobs, access to healthcare, education assistance, home renovations, lighter sentences or breaks from the law)? We have taken a stand to fight for equality and fairness for all people by exercising the rights provided to the TEB in the Tribal Constitution. Many of these decisions have played out in the public eye to make us look like we are in a power struggle with the Chairman’s Office. You elected us to uphold our oath of office and defend all 13,700 tribal enrolled members and not a select few. We have rallied together to make sure that people know that it isn’t right to steal from the tribes, that our directors will be held to a higher standard of performing their job duties to help ALL and not just their family and friends, that our tribal employees will all get treated with respect and dignity. That we follow our tribal policies and procedures and ensure that they apply to all employees no matter what their job title is, who they know or who their family is.
Are you TIRED of the negativity, division & lies? VOTE Jestin Dupree for Tribal Chairman and his ticket! For Vice-Chairman: Mike Youngman Sr. TEB Incumbents: Kaci Wallette, Emerson Young, Carolyn Bighorn-Brugh, Frank Gourneau & Patt Iron Cloud-Runs Through. Candidate Elects: Wayne Martell, Peter “Tonto” Dupree, Robert “Bob” Welch & Sean Bighorn. A STRONG, LOUD & UNITED VOICE FOR ALL ENROLLED MEMBERS! We would appreciate your vote in the upcoming election on October 30th. Respectfully, Kaci Wallette
