Hello, I am Sean Bighorn. I carry my traditional ways by singing and I try to emcee also. I still get real nervous when I have to speak in public but that goes away once I am on. I remember when I was a little guy when my father was running for Chairman. I would always be happy and excited to go to the next rally and hear good words from great leaders. I was born in a long line of Tribal Leaders...it was an awesome time for our Reservation. Now, it seems that we only get to hear Tribal Candidates every two years but we are lucky to have social media now. We do get to watch meetings and see what the current Council does every day. I don’t and wouldn’t discriminate on my people regardless. I think highly of my Tribe so thank you creator for making me a Tribal member of Assiniboine & Sioux People of the Fort Peck Reservation.

With a few more days to go to our TEB General Elections, I hope to have your support for Tribal Executive Board. I will treat everyone with respect and treat everyone equally. I will work together with our new administration and move our tribe forward. Some issues that need to be addressed is gun safety in our tribal households, fire safety, and homelessness. I am an advocate for traditions, culture and our youth. We need to take action right away on November 1st! I just wanted to say I hope you folks vote on October 30th, it is an important day for our Assiniboine and Sioux People.
