Roger Ardelle Gilbertson, 70, of Antelope died at his home on Oct, 18, 2021.

He was born in Wolf Point to Willie and Wilma Gilbertson. He grew up south of Flaxville. He went to school in Flaxville from first grade to 12th.

He married MaryAnn Hammer from Scobey in 1971. They lived in and around Houston, Texas. They had two boys together — Daren and Richard.

He met Judy and later moved to Plentywood with their family. They were married on Jan. 29, 1995. He worked for his brother Terry at OK Tire and then later leased the building from Terry and had his own tire business. After closing the tire store, he went to work for Matt Miller at Miller Oil. Roger and Judy lived in Plentywood and later moved to Antelope.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; and step-daughter, Susan Mc-Glothlin.

He is survived by his children, Daren and Richard of Texas; Joe McGlothlin of Williston, N.D.; Vince McGlothlin of Sidney; and Kirk Mc-Glothlin of Williston, N.D.; 11 grandchildren; and brother, Terry Gilbertson.

Graveside committal services were held Friday, Oct. 22, at the Pleasant Prairie Cemetery (south of Flaxville on the RY Trail).
