County Reports 119 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County has 119 active cases including 48 new positive cases as of Monday, Nov. 15. There are currently 11 hospitalizations.

There have been 59 confirmed COVID-related deaths in Roosevelt County.

Vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, in Wolf Point and Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 3-6 p.m. in Culbertson.

Montana counties with higher amounts of active cases include Yellowstone (1,480), Cascade (952), Missoula (787), Lewis and Clark (720), Flathead (528), Gallatin (411), Park (301), Lake (179) and Glacier (149).

Area Statistics

Daniels County had four active cases as of Tuesday, Nov. 16. The county has 283 recovered cases and 296 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

In McCone County, there are eight active cases as of Monday, Nov. 15. There are 279 recovered cases. There have been three COVID-related deaths in the county.

For Richland County, there were 49 active cases and 1,778 recovered cases as of Monday, Nov. 15. Total COVID-related deaths are 24. There have been 1,851 total cases.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 185,176 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,099,441 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 6,991 active cases. There are 316 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Nov. 15, a total of 2,490 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 175,695 people have recovered.

Though there is no state mask mandate, local jurisdictions may still choose to implement their own mask requirements. Gov. Gianforte emphasized how providing incentives and encouraging personal responsibility are more effective than imposing unenforceable government mandates.

Vaccine Doses

In Roosevelt County, 8,871 total doses have been administered. There have been 4,148 or 42 percent fully immunizations.

As of Monday, Nov. 15, 1,164,987 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 512,018 or 50 percent fully immunized Montanans.
