With a talented group of players returning, Frazer’s boys’ basketball squad should move up in the league standings this season.
Frazer’s starters back include John Hotomanie, Keein Ackerman, Blue Fettig and Jonathan Jackson.
“We’re looking pretty good,” Frazer coach Myron Jackson said. “We’re looking to push the ball up more.”
Other returning players with a good amount of court time include Ty Fourstar, Joseph Beston, The Bearcubs are also looking for strong contributions from Jarvis Goodbird, Anthony Jackson and Travis Long.
“We will be a little more up-tempo, run with the ball more,” Jackson said.
The coach expects Scobey, Lustre and Dodson to be among the league’s top contenders. North Country and Nashua could also be solid.
“Hopefully, everything works out and we get a few “Ws” this year,” Jackson said.
The Bearcubs will face Terry on Friday, Dec. 3, and Turner on Saturday, Dec. 4. Both contests are in Glasgow.
