Bainville Boys Knock Off Brockton

Bainville’s boys’ basketball squad earned a 67-37 season- opening victory over Brockton on Friday, Dec. 3.

The Bulldogs led by a 35-19 half-time margin en route to the home win.

Bainville’s Jesse Strickland finished with 18 points and five steals. Braeden Romo accounted for 12 rebounds, nine assists and five steals.

The Bulldogs scored 18 points in the first quarter, 17 in the second, 15 in the third and 17 in the fourth.

Also scoring for Bainville were Chuck Butikofer with 13, Ayden Knudsen with 11, Sam Butikofer with 11, Romo with six, Alex Strickland with four and Reid Anderson with four.

Top scorers for Brockton were Quinn Dale Pretty Paint with 15 and Blair Stump with 11 points.
