Culbertson Girls Defeat Richey/Lambert

The Culbertson Cowgirls outscored Richey/Lambert by a 10-2 margin in the third quarter and downed the Fusion, 42-23, in Richey on Friday, Dec. 3.

Culbertson gained a 10-4 lead in the first quarter of the season-opening contest and led 16-10 at the half.

Megan Granbois scored 21 points to lead the Cowgirls. The junor made 13 of 17 free-throw attempts in the contest.

Makena Hauge also reached double figures with 14 points.

Destiny Thompson added seven points.
