Bainville’s Girls Open With Victory

The Bainville Bulldogs opened their girls’ basketball season on a high note with a 47-32 victory over Brockton on Friday, Dec. 3.

Bainville jumped out to a 12-5 lead in the first quarter as Tally Berwick tallied four of the points.

The Bulldogs increased the margin to 23-12 at the half and 37-17 after three quarters of play. Leading Bainville in the third quarter were Berwick with seven points and Kaitlyn Adkins with five points.

Elsie Wilson scored eight points in the fourth quarter and finished with 16 to lead Bainville. Berwick added 12 points.

Also scoring were Atkins with nine, Lakyn Rabbe with six and Miah Pippenger with four.

Top scorers for Brockton were Tamryn Bauer with 13 and Cortney Spotted Wolf with 10 points.
