Winners Announced For Walleye Tournament Series

Whit Rush of Wolf Point was selected the Angler of the Year for the Fort Peck walleye tournament series in 2021. The award was presented at the Walleyes Unlimited state banquet in Lewistown in February.

Kris Keller of Wolf Point placed second for Angler of the Year and Glasgow’s Stuart Law took third.

The top team this year was Jason Eggebrecht and Ross Lien, both of Fort Peck. Belgrade’s Zeik Gordon and Laurel’s Owen Wilcox placed second. Mike Wenz and Marley Ziegler of Gillette, Wyo., took third.

Joyce Hammer and Willy Hammer won the award for top mixed couple. Cierra Loudon and Colby Loudon of Circle placed second.

The top adult/child team was Zeik Gordon of Belgrade and Owen Wilcox of Laurel Sidney’s Jaxsen Reuter and Jesse Reuter took second.

Keller received the Top Gun Award for the highest score at fishing Rock Creek, Governor’s Cup and Hell Creek.
