Cowgirls Win One Over Froid/Lake

The Culbertson Cowgirls pulled away in the second half to edge Froid/Lake by a 42-30 win on Tuesday, Dec. 21.

Culbertson remained undefeated with the victory.

The Cowgirls led by only a 20-18 half-time margin and then ran off 12 points in the third quarter for a 32-27 margin.

Culbertson outscored the Red Hawks by a 10-3 margin in the fourth quarter.

Reaching double figures were Megan Granbois with 14 points and Makena Hauge with 11 points.

Also scoring were Destiny Thompson with eight, Autumn Bergum with seven and Perla Burciaga with two.

Dasani Nesbit scored 10 points for the Red Hawks.

Also scoring for Froid/ Lake were Mara Salvevold with eight, Baylee Davidson with seven, Carolyne Christoffersen with four and Brooklyn Nordwick with one.
