Red Hawks Victorious Over Cowboys

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks earned a 71-32 boys’ basketball home victory over Culbertson on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

Froid/Lake jumped out to a 23-11 lead during the first quarter.

The Red Hawks exploded for 27 second-quarter points for a 50-17 half-time advantage. Froid/Lake was ahead 6827 after three quarters of play.

Top scorers for the Red Hawks were Mason Dethman with 27 points and Javonne Nesbit with 17 points.

Patton Bighorn added 11 points for Froid/Lake.

Also scoring were Tyler Wivholm with five, Nate Stentoft with five, Max Engelke with four and Connor Huft with two.

James Kirkaldie led the Cowboys with 16 points.

Also scoring for the Culbertson were Colin Avance with four, Bridger Salvevold with four, Maurice Bighorn with three, Mark Kirdaldie with three and Shea Scott with two.
