County Reports Only Five Active COVID Cases
As of Sunday, Dec. 25, Roosevelt County only had five active cases of COVID-19 with only one current hospitalization. There have been 67 confirmed COVID-related deaths in the county.
County health officials encourage all residents aged five and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.
Area Statistics
Daniels County had one active cases as of Monday, Dec. 27. The county has 303 recovered cases and 313 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.
Valley County reports 11 active cases as of Monday, Dec. 27. The county has 1,354 recovered cases and 1,397 cumulative cases. There have been 32 COVID-related deaths.
In McCone County, there is one active case as of Monday, Dec. 27. There have been eight COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 308 recovered cases and 317 cumulative cases.
Phillips County had six active cases as of Monday, Dec. 27. There have been 846 recovered cases and 27 COVID-related deaths.
For Richland County, there were 27 active cases and 1,973 recovered cases as of Monday, Dec. 27. Total COVID-related deaths are 30. There have been 2,030 total cases.
Sheridan County had two active cases as of Monday, Dec. 27. There have been 550 recovered cases and 10 COVID-related deaths.
Statewide
According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 196,044 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,266,276 tests conducted.
Around the state, there are 1,775 active cases. There are 112 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Dec. 27, a total of 2,899 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 191,370 people have recovered. A total of 10,366 have been hospitalized.
Vaccine Doses
In Roosevelt County, 10,306 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Dec. 27. There are 4,422 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.
In Valley County, 7,332 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Dec. 27. There are 3,055 fully immunized for 44 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.
In Daniels County, 1,617 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Dec. 27. There are 672 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.
In McCone County, 1,037 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Dec. 27. There are 422 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.
In Richland County, 9,074 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Dec. 27. There are 4,020 fully immunized for 39 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.
In Phillips County, 4,019 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Dec. 27. There are 1,712 fully immunized for 47 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.
In Sheridan County, 1,897 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Dec. 27. There are 1,792 fully immunized for 58 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
As of Monday, Dec. 13, 1,317,333 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 537,104 or 53 percent fully immunized Montanans.
