Kierstead Starts At Culbertson Library

The Culbertson Library has a new assistant librarian. Longtime local Jessica Kierstead started at the library Dec. 20. Said librarian Leona Colvin, “She’ll be taking over Story Hour and I think she’s got some really good ideas. She’ll be an asset.”

Kierstead, who attended high school in Sheperd, Mont., worked for two years at the Sidney Herald before deciding to look for employment in Culbertson. “I wanted to be in Culbertson while my kids are in school,” said Kierstead, who has youngsters in Kindergarten and pre-K. She added that the library is familiar territory.

“I’ve spent lots of time at the library,” she said, “checking out books, Story Time with the kids.”
